Off to the land of the long white cloud!

It has come! The Christmas holiday to New Zealand. My bags are [almost] packed and I am [almost] ready to go - as the song goes, I am leaving on a jetplane at 7pm tonight headed for Christchurch.

From there i have 23 days in South Island, where I plant to do a clockwise loop - spending some time around xmas in Queenstown, before travelling up the West Coast to Nelson for New Years and a 4 day whitewater kayak course in Murchison to cap it all off. Then flying back to Sydney on Sunday 7th of February. I am taking my mountain bike, some camping equipment, and a bit of paddling gear - so ready for most things that come my way!

Will try to keep this posted when the carrier pigeons are available!
