Bangkok and beyond

The ferry was a piece of cake. Got prime spot on the deck out of the spray but with a view of the horizon and no need for any of the previous trips heroics. From there a long bus trip took us to the backpacking heart of Bangkok - Koh San Road. Found a spot to stay, with Jill a little under the weather.

Temples, Buddha's, Wat, China Town's and all that is Bangkok by foot. Must have walked 15km+. Got back late in the night and slept. In. Weekend markets, at .... These markets are so big you forget all sense of direction as you near the center, no daylight gets in, just good deals and better ones..Everything from curios, clothes, and food to live endangered animals.

Back via Sky train and Ferry to Koh san Road.

Early Departure next hour for a Bus ride from hell to Koh Chang (an Island near Cambodia border) Stayed on lonely beach for two nights before making the pilgrimage back via. Walking, Taxi, Ferry, Taxi, Bus, Sky Train, Ferry and walking. Felt a bit like the amazing race. All in time to pick up my tailored suit.

Next morning leave to the Airport to Fly to Singapore where we are now. Except for some reason my bag decided not to follow..hopefully Jetstar will be kind and it will. Or all my shopping will have been for nought...
Two days here then its back to Sydney via Adelaide (of all places)
(will write more and post some pics later)
