A week in Cape Town, some good runs on the side of table mountain, and catching up with friends. Also SOME work in between.
Phil - Surveying is all action.A quick last minute planned trip up to the mines west of Johannesburg, to chuck some radars down some very very deep boreholes. The aim of the exercise, to give the mines some information that may stop them loosing millions by sinking shafts in the wrong place..and yes they have in the not so distant past. Somehow I landed up in the honeymoon suite at the guest house - complete with free standing bath in the middle of the room.
Abandoned, costly mistakes.....
