Seeing as though the games were in town, or in country, I went down to Melbourne for the day to get into the spirit of things and see my friend Dan compete in the cycling time trial for Namibia. Excellent day, Dan even got sit in the podium chair for a while, and took us round the athletes village for some freeloading off the Pepsi machine and spying through the windows trying to learn the Ausssie doping practices :-)
