The small QE2 - obscuring the harbour bridge.Two of the largest cruise ships in the world chugged into Sydney harbour yesterday, The Queen Mary 2 (Biggest in the world) and the Queen Elizabeth 2. The flotilla of boats ant flytilla of helicopters was something else - at one stage the I counted 14 helicopters buzzing around.
The QM 2 - obscuring the Sydney skyline! The number of people who turned up to see them come in was almost more impressive, I was gridlocked on my bike for half an hour just getting away from Circular Quay. Not to mention the fireworks... You would almost think that the Aussies in Sydney was trying to make up their cricket boys losing their top one day international ranking to South Africa! (Sorry had to get that in somewhere - bring on the world cup).
