Slacker Update..

Barington Paddling:

About to paddle the Moppy Section!

Time has passed since my last post So heres what I have been doing. Went up to Gloucester to do an offroad triathlon. It rained. Fun police cancelled the race for "safety reasons". We organised with some people who knew some people, hired whitewater boats, took advantage of the rain and paddled the Moppy River - Awesome. Got abused by some crazy Aussie Farmer, about paddling over her land - drove back to Sydney.
Canada again:

A Lake in Yellowknife in Autumn

I'm Famous (not)!!

Next week - flew to Canada (Trip 4). Up to Yellowknife in one go (all time record no bags lost no planes missed). Got my picture taken for the local newspaper. Went to mine worked there solidly for a week. Flew back to Vancouver, stopped by at MEC. Almost missed my flight back to Sydney. Landed in Sydney. One day rest. Drove up to Hunter Valley for a mining conference. Presented my paper. Drank wine, bought wine - came back to Sydney.

Aurora at the mine.
Blue Mountains Hiking:

Drove to other side of blue mountains for the long weekend, in Kanangra National Park. Did a 3 day overnight camp, climbed some mountains called "Cloud Maker" and "Paralyser".Camped next and swam in two good rivers. Raced up some seriass vertical ascents, put rocks in peoples bags. Ate a one litre pie - drove back to Sydney.
